Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026 (template)

This is a placeholder legal template, not a finished policy. It must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified lawyer before it governs any real student data, especially once payments, accounts and stored test answers go live.

1. Who we are

LexiCert Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (“LexiCert”, “we”, “us”) is based at Unit 704, Solitaire Corporate Park, Andheri–Ghatkopar Link Road, Andheri East, Mumbai 400093, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our assessment platform, and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact details you submit through forms: name, email, phone, organisation
  • Account details for the student portal: name, email, password (stored hashed)
  • Assessment data: test answers, scores, interview recordings and examiner notes
  • Payment records for test attempts (payment provider details, not full card numbers)
  • Standard technical data such as browser type and pages visited

3. How we use it

To deliver assessments and interviews, produce and share result reports with the university a student is applying to, respond to enquiries, and meet our own record-keeping and legal obligations.

4. Sharing with universities

Where a student is assessed on behalf of a partner university, their results and, where applicable, interview recording are shared with that university as part of the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Retention

Interview recordings are retained for 180 days for partner audit purposes. Assessment records are retained for as long as needed to support a student's application and our own reporting obligations.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to our record-keeping obligations to partner universities, by contacting admissions@lexicert.in.
